This site shows what results Google search shows in the automcomplete dropdown when the words "who", "what", "when", "where" and "why" are typed in on a Google search page.
We don't know the finer details of the algorithm Google uses to decide what to show in the autocomplete dropdown, but Google has this to say. Note that "Your past searches" is not relevant here as the data are collected in such a way that past searches are not considered.
The results are region specific. The results recorded by wwwww.today are currently generated in the UK.
I am Geoff. I built this website and a few other things.
I did this because I found it curious what some of the autocomplete results were, especially when they were about subjects I have no knowledge of. This made me wonder if autocomplete results might sometimes come and go quite quickly. I thought it might be fun to track that. I also wanted to pursue a side project that had narrow enough scope to actually finish for once ;)
I built it in mid 2023 and it gathers data several times each day.
